I am standing on the doorstep of an Albert Heijn branch with my collection box for Amnesty International. Soon an employee comes to ask me if I have permission from the head office. I say that is not necessary, this is the public road after all. Moments later, the manager appears and says that the customers find collectors annoying. At that moment, a woman just coming out of the store puts a twenty euro bill in my bus. That’s the good thing about Albert Heijn.
