After the defeat, the FC Bayern players were frustrated. Thomas Tuchel was also served. He is said to have even refused an interview with a TV team.
The stars of FC Bayern Munich certainly did not expect a 3-0 defeat in Leverkusen. The frustration after their own performance weighed heavily on players like Thomas Müller and Leon Goretzka. It’s logical that coach Thomas Tuchel also hoped for more from his team. According to “Bild”, the coach’s frustration was great.
As the newspaper reports, Tuchel did not want to do an interview with ZDF after the official press conference. Accordingly, the public broadcaster wanted to have a conversation with the FC Bayern coach in the mini studio. Bayern press spokesman Dieter Nickles apparently made Tuchel aware of this. But Tuchel is said to have only replied annoyed: “I’ve been giving interviews for an hour.”
There is said to have been a discussion between the press spokesman for the German record champions, a ZDF reporter and Tuchel. The latter allegedly left the scene without giving the interview.
