Some say that the rustic pub with the Dachshund-Fimmel, located in the gray area between Neukölln and Kreuzberg, is “the Uber-Arena of Hearts”. Others speak of the “Paris Bar of the Little Man” when they think of the completely elite atmosphere between the counter and the small back room showroom.

In any case, musicians, actors and actresses have been meeting here for over a decade and what is called “Showbiz”, without the usual vanities for drinking in the “Posh Teckel”.

Regularly irregular small concerts, readings, performance or quiz evenings are also part of the portfolio. Recently, journalist and author John Robb from Manchester was a guest to present his current work “Goth – The Dark Side of Punk”. Accompanied by Danielle de Picciotto, Alexander Hacke and Mark Reeder. And when New Order plays music in Berlin, the After Show Party is firmly booked here.

Eleven nights are celebrated in Pflüger Straße – under the motto: “11 years, 11 nights”. The start of the series of events begins on October 8th with a tribute to Ella, former dog boss and iconic Teckel mascot, who left the “vault” forever three years ago.

On October 9, a thematically demanding pub quiz about women in music follows – designed and moderated by Dyan Valdés, long -time keyboardist of the Hamburg band the stars. Valdés not only brings profound specialist knowledge, but also international quiz experience from her former home Los Angeles.

In-house late night show “Teckel TV”

The next day, on October 10th, a karaoke night is on the program-with musical surprises and guaranteed entertainment value, even beyond pure singing art.

The highlight of the series fits the actual birthday of the pub, October 11th.

The anniversary on a Saturday: After the “Tagesschae” hosts Bernd Kötting invites you to the in-house late night show “Teckel TV”-a live production exclusively for the pub audience (and not for television). Journalist Ilka Peemöller, who knows the scene between glamor and underground, as well as Tim Neuhaus, drummer in Cluesos band are guests. DJ Vossi then takes over the turntable – a fixture from the unfortunately closed “Dodo Beach East” in Prenzlauer Berg.

On Sunday, October 12th, songwriter Bernd Begemann will honor himself – a veteran of German pop culture, word artists and musical free spirit from Hamburg. If you expect a classic concert, you will be surprised: Begemann gets the stage – and free hand. Whether cooking, tap dance, series tips or spontaneous music performances – nothing is excluded.

On 13 and 14. 10, the Nuremberg Teckel-Wirt Bernd rotates in his kitchen, he not only serves Franconian Schäufela. Wednesday will be Irish Folk and with the “Bingo Night” on Thursday friendly, freakies come to an end for eleven days
