Fate defies the anniversary edition of ‘De Mol’. After the earlier forced withdrawals from Nele and Mol Philippe, detective Anke Van Os had to give up with a double elbow fracture. “The pain immediately made it clear that continuing to play was not an option,” testifies the disappointed candidate. And presenter Gilles De Coster, who saw it with sorrow. “If Anke de Mol had been there, it would have been game over without a doubt. Then we would have turned off the cameras and ended the recordings.”
