Anton Levtchi and Anni Keisala were recognized as the best players in Finland this season.
Female lions rejected the bronze medal in the Beijing Olympic Games Anni Keisala has been awarded the Golden Helmet award as the first female player in Finnish puck history.
In the past, the Golden Helmet has only been awarded to the best player in the Men’s Championship League, but from now on the best in the Women’s League will also receive the same prize. The prize will be voted on by the players in the series.
Keisala, who fought in the lynx, won the prize with a 13-point difference against the striker of Kiekko-Espoo Elisa Holopainen.

– That season was really successful, especially when it ended with the championship party. It feels really great and something has been done right when other players voted for the best, Levtchi said in a player association press release.
Two other honors were also presented at the players’ association awards ceremony.
The players voted Antti Bomanin for the fifth time the best referee in the league. All choices have come in succession in recent years.
A defender who played in the top season was locked Vili Saarijärvi was awarded the Juha Rantasilta prize for the defender who scored the most goals. Saarijärvi scored 17 goals in the regular season.
