Anna Nooshin leaves Holland’s Next Top Model

RTL is breathing new life into the TV classic Holland’s Next Top Model after three years, but then on Videoland. Anna Nooshin disappears as presenter and is succeeded by Loiza Lamers.

Anna Nooshin has presented Holland’s Next Top Model for the past three seasons. She has been left with a real trauma, because her first big live final went completely wrong because of the nerves. “I don’t know what happened either. The moment I was on stage and the lights came on, I got really nervous,” she said later.

Loiza is happy

It never really got better; the viewer zapped en masse at Holland’s Next Top Model led by Anna. The grand finale of the last season attracted only 207 thousand viewers to RTL 5 in December 2019, which is staggeringly few for such an expensive program. The most-watched final ever drew 1 million viewers.

Anna has therefore given up and now Loiza Lamers is taking her place. “In 2015 I won Holland’s Next Top Model and now, 7 years later, on this day, I can finally tell you that I am the new presenter of HNTM. It’s hard to describe how I feel, but believe me, I’m almost bursting with happiness and pride!” she says.

Anna responds

What does Anna think of not returning as a presenter? That is not clear, but she congratulates Loiza on the presentation. “Dear Loiza, I am so looking forward to your new season. It is a joy to present this and I can’t wait to see you and the new jury shine.”

Holland’s Next Top Model once started with Yfke Sturm as a presenter. After two runs, she was relieved by Daphne Deckers, who was relieved again after three runs by Anouk Smulders. She did the most seasons, namely four.
