MTV Oy / Tuomas Klemola
The playful Grandmaster program will see a comic moment on Saturday night as the program’s host Jaakko Saariluoma presents the blue objects he has asked the program stars to bring to the audience’s delight in the studio.
– What do you think is an interesting blue object worth bringing here? Saariluoma throws the ball in the program To Anna-Maija Tuoko.
Immediately after hearing Saariluoma’s question, Tuokko flashes a wide smile.
– I had that interesting little thing about this when I tried to look for a blue object at all. There were quite a few of them, but I brought a blue used toothbrush here, he admits.
When the cameras are handsomely aimed at a used toothbrush set on a studio stage, the live audience bursts into laughter.
– The interest is that this is quite surprising, Tuokko continues.
When the program also starred Jenni Pääskysaari asks who the toothbrush belongs to, Tuokko shows himself.
The Smurfs Collection
Swallow Island also brings the blue objects to the studio itself. He says he thought through his history and thought hard about what object might be interesting enough for the task.
– What else can come to mind for such a wonderful person who grew up in the 1980s? Smurfs!
After the unveiling, the program presents a collection of smurf figures collected by Pääskysaari in his childhood.
– It’s my own, self-collected, genuine weekly money collection of smurfs.
Swallow Island also recalls how his best friend had an even bigger and finer collection as a child. At the end of the presentation of the collection, Pääskysaari sends greetings to the best friend of his childhood.
– Look Johis, which Smurfs got on the telly! Swallow Island finds a twinkle in the corner of his eye.
