After the Frankfurter twice undercut the German record over 100 meters at the Pro Swim Series in San Antonio, Texas, she also set a record over 200 meters breaststroke.
In 2:24.63 minutes she broke the five-year-old record set by Jessica Steiger from Gladbeck (2:25.00) and also the standard time for the European Championships in Rome from August 11th to 21st. Once again, only local Lilly King (2:23.69) was faster in Texas.
Already on Friday, Elendt did the 100 meters in 1:05.58 minutes and was thus 38 hundredths of a second faster in the final than she had set in the preliminary heat.
