Ankorstore presents a support program for founders

The digital B2B platform Ankorstore presented a new funding concept for company founders on Wednesday. The program, called Ankorstart, offers a “simple and free service that supports entrepreneurs in the first stages of their retail life: before, during and after opening their shop,” the French company said in a statement. In the current year, Ankorstart will help “5,000 retail store founders to become successful business owners”.

Nicolas D’Audiffret, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Ankorstore, explained the concept: “With Ankorstart we are proving that Ankorstore is not just an online B2B marketplace, but that we provide a holistic ecosystem for retailers,” he explained in a message. “With our all-in-one solution, we are addressing the diverse needs of our community. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the definition of the business model, the choice of location or the composition of the range.”

The program underscores the company’s “mission to revitalize retail,” supporting retailers “from business inception to cutting-edge analysis of sales data,” said D’Audiffret. According to its own statements, the retail service provider, which was founded in 2019, now works “with more than 250,000 independent retailers and 20,000 brands in 33 European countries”.
