It seems that Anita Witzier has been turned on by Irene Moors. She reacts very pissed off and sour when she is asked to respond to the speculation about her TV exit.
Anita Witzier, like Irene Moors, is bothered by critics who wonder whether she is still relevant in the TV world. Her TV career has taken a big hit after taking Memories off the tube and that has never really worked out. After a year-long TV break, she returned last summer with a huge flop: Festival of Love.
Finished with Anita?
It is unclear what Anita is doing at the moment. At the end of the year, her contract with KRO-NCRV expires and disaster is in the air. If someone is more often on the reserve bench than in front of the camera, then of course you know what time it is: they will soon be able to drink unlimited coffee with Irene.
What does Anita think of the speculation about her contract extension? Weekly magazine Party asks her: “On various internet sites there were messages about the expiration of your contract and then it is suggested that Anita Witzier may be over. How do you view that kind of reporting yourself?”
Very pissed off
Anita reacts very angry to that, as we already know from Irene. “I didn’t read it myself, but heard it. And what you say: they are suggestions, so yes, should I do something with that? What bothers me the most is the horny tone of such sites, often intended to provoke a riot, I really don’t feel like that.”
Isn’t it justifiable that people question her TV future? “In principle they are very happy with me, so I don’t immediately see a reason why a new contract could not be forthcoming. Anyway, it takes two to tangonowadays even three with the NPO added.”
On the street
So Anita’s contract has still not been renewed. Is she considering a TV exit? “I certainly take that into account. I have been coaching young talent at KRO-NCRV for a while now. That is terribly beautiful and interesting to do.”
Anita would like to expand on that if she is kicked out. “I didn’t think it would be something for me, but it came my way and I notice that I really enjoy doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction.”
Good thing, too. Can she get to work with that after the turn of the year…
