Anita Witzier is not a fan of the ratings hit Today Inside. The presenter finds the men sitting at the table ‘unpleasant’ troublemakers. She much prefers to watch Media Inside.
It is the most popular talk show in our country: Today Inside. NPO star Anita Witzier is in any case not part of the viewership of the program. She does like to watch the talk show Media Inside of the duo Gijs Groenteman and Marcel van Roosmalen, who recently received a considerable scolding from the men of VI.
Fan of Media Inside
In the VARA guide, Anita and her husband Michel Nillesen, director at production companies IDTV and South & Browse, give an interview about their viewing behaviour.
At some point Michel brings the conversation to Media Inside. “We are both big fans of Media inside with Marcel van Roosmalen and the almost naive Gijs Groenteman. I like the greengrocer so much because he sits behind that table and asks the questions like a child. Media Inside is so different from what I’m used to on TV.”
Sneer to VI trio
Anita agrees. “And they express in a dry witty way what we often think. Much, much more fun than that bleating at Today Inside. I don’t get any wiser and happier from that unpleasant stoke atmosphere.”
Johan Derksen and René van der Gijp are therefore unpleasant troublemakers, according to Anita. Michel can agree with that; he is not a regular viewer either. “I sometimes zap past it and then hang around,” he says. But: “We really sit down for Media Inside and With Het Knife Op Tafel.”

Finally, Anita also has a sneer in store for the Meilandjes. “What I can’t look at are the Meilandjes. I do not understand it either.”
Michel: “Nothing happens either. Then I would rather see Massa is cash register, at least something is happening there. Love that shamelessness.”
