Animation for young and old at LUX festival in Rollegem
As in previous editions, children and young people are in charge between 2 pm and 8 pm. The performances by two Tomorrowland DJs will start at 6 pm. The entire festival is completely FREE. Vzw Het Ventiel is the charity of LUX 23.
Rollegemplaats is the festival mecca of South West Flanders and far beyond for one day. Families in particular find their way to the LUX festival en masse. Logical, because LUX guarantees top entertainment for young and (slightly) less young. From youth fire brigade to a bouncy castle village. On Saturday 20 May there will be free entertainment everywhere on the festival site.
Music
Media lab Quindo from Kortrijk will make live radio from 2 pm to 6 pm. The performances start at 6 p.m. The program features reggae band Heartwash, Dutch cover band THREETHIRD and DJs Obi Pittomvils, @itDude and Nina Black. The latter two will run at Tomorrowland this summer.
The Valve
As in previous years, the LUX Festival donates part of any proceeds to a good cause. This year it is vzw Het Ventiel. This organization is committed with heart and soul to people with young dementia. Last year, the non-profit organization Hartekinderen was the charity.
