Angry fans want the actress finally kicked out of Aquaman 2

Sometimes you have to ask yourself how hot Amber Heard’s international hate community really was. As court reporters continue to await a signal from the Fairfax, Virginia jury in the Depp/Heard trial, the self-proclaimed avenging angels are cheering over new Motzki record numbers.

The online petition, which has been running since 2020, wants to persuade the Hollywood film studio Warner Bros to remove Amber Heard from the cast list for the upcoming DC franchise film “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”. “Do the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2”, calls for it in the preamble.

As of this Wednesday morning, the protest note has now reached 4.429 million signatures. The originally announced target of 4.5 million was only just missed.

Behind this action on the Change.org platform is Johnny Depp disciple Jeanne Larson, who is also calling for a similar action for Depp’s recall to the next “Fantastic Beasts” film. Depp was intended for the role of Grindelwald here.

The petition already had a remarkable three million signers in early May when reports emerged that Heard could at least expect an art cameo time of around 10 minutes in the superhero film sequel.

Meanwhile, during her trial testimony late last month, Heard claimed that Warner “didn’t want to consider me anymore,” while she was “actively planning the timing of filming” — the “Dork Army” barrage she left out of the new film altogether keep out, always in mind.

While Heard can at least aim for her role in the sea, so far there have only been wild rumors about Johnny Depp’s Hollywood future. He is aiming for a comeback, it is said shortly.

The tabloid New York Post quoted Heard’s court filings on the Aquaman affair: “I got the script and then a new version of it that now has the action scenes removed. Now without spoilers: There are two characters fighting each other. They also took a lot out of my role in other respects,” says Heard.

As is so often the case in this process, the ex-couple’s love war is mixed with professional calculation. Other reports on Heard’s Aquaman future say she would have been fired from action movies anyway because the “chemistry” between her and co-hero Jason Momoa was no longer right. Heard’s agent, Jessica Kovacevic, is quoted as saying that Warner Bros “doesn’t want to work with anyone who has such bad press,” she says.
