A dozen fishermen are standing this Thursday morning in a branch of the IJssel near Zwolle, near the old IJsselbrug. Where people skate with sufficient frost, fish are now getting more and more cramped with the increasing drought. The men are their salvation. In bare bark they are hoisted in waders and they grab with their hands the fish that they normally have hanging from the rod.
