At VfB Stuttgart, Angelo Stiller is a top performer under coach Sebastian Hoeneß. And is now apparently also in the sights of the “royal”. The presumably future real coach could also play a role.
Angelo Stiller plays a strong season at VfB Stuttgart – and thus puts a field of view of large European clubs. As the Spanish sports newspaper “Marca” reports, the German international is not only at Liverpool FC, but also on the piece of paper at Real Madrid. And could succeed Toni Kroos there, who ended his career in the summer of 2024. The “royal” could not yet replace the long -time control center in midfield.
According to this, Xabi Alonso, currently still a coach of Bayer Leverkusen and as the future coach of Real, is to look for a new midfield director. In addition to Stiller, Leverkusen’s Exquiel Palacios, who has already played a lot under Alonso, and Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan are also traded.
The “Marca” describes quieter than the “best organized” of the three candidates. The 24-year-old is said to be available for around 40 million euros. The “Bild” had previously reported on an exit clause of 36.5 million euros, but it could only be removed from the contract in the summer of 2026 and from Stuttgart – against a payment of four million euros.
The Stiller, trained in the youth of FC Bayern, was switched from TSG Hoffenheim to Stuttgart in 2023 for 5.5 million euros. In 46 competitive games in 2024/25, Stiller scored four goals, prepared nine more goals.
