Angelique Kerber’s former successful coach Torben Beltz has found an exciting new job.
The 45-year-old will take care of tennis world number two Anett Kontaveit with immediate effect and thus also at the upcoming Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon.
The 26-year-old Estonian announced the commitment on Sunday on her website.
It was not until the end of April that US Open winner Emma Raducanu separated from Beltz after only five months.
Before starting his work for the British teenager last November, the North German ended working with the three-time Grand Slam winner Kerber, whom he looked after several times in the course of her career.
During the time together, Kerber’s victories at the Australian Open and US Open 2016 fell.
