Angela Groothuizen would be a good option to succeed Yvon Jaspers as presenter of Boer Zoekt Vrouw, says Privé star journalist Jan Uriot. “She could do that very well, of course.”
Farmer Wants Woman has been presented by Yvon Jaspers since the very first episode. Apart from one fierce argument with her employer, there was never really a change in presentation. The program is still a viewing figure gun and Yvon is also a part of it.

If she does fall out, then you absolutely cannot just put someone else on it, says Privé star journalist Jan Uriot. He points out that for such an important program as Farmer Searches Woman you must have certain qualities.
What qualities are those? “You have to have someone there, a woman anyway, a motherly type, but also who has preponderance. It’s like with athletes; they don’t speak that easily. Neither do the farmers. Sometimes you have to get the words out of course,” he says in the section What does Jan think?†
‘Angela is suitable’
There is only one who can do that, Jan thinks. “The only one I can think of is actually Angela Groothuizen. To possibly replace her. Angela could do that very well of course.”
Does he think the viewer could get tired of Yvon Jaspers at all? “I can imagine. There is sometimes criticism of her, but I think she does enjoy it.”
