Rachel Hazes threw her ashtray against the television last night. Monique Westenberg was called a ‘fantastic person’ in the talk show of Eva Jinek. “She is very strong.”
Few people have their say in the new docuseries about André Hazes Jr. A prominent role is reserved for the mother of his child: Monique Westenberg. She has been mercilessly humiliated by the folk singer, but now seems to have found resignation. There doesn’t seem to be any bitterness at all.
‘Monique is great’
Angela de Jong is very impressed by her, she says in the talk show Jinek. “Yes, I think that’s a really great person. I really like her role in the documentary. Anyway, I like how she manifests herself in all this madness around her, André, that family and whether or not she is arguing with Rachel… She never says anything.”
The whole Hazes family is a kind of mental illness fanfare, but Monique still seems to be fairly normal. “I think he can thank God on his bare knees that she is the mother of his child.”
‘She’s chic’
Antoinnette Scheulderman, known as Linda de Mol-bestie and lover of Gijp millionaire Michel van Egmond, agrees. “Monique is his rescue and what I think is very chic is that she never said anything about all those other women who passed by and of course always pretended to be his new great love.”
She continues: “By the way, he did that himself, didn’t he? So she is incredibly hurt and humiliated, but has always thought of her son. She has always thought: I don’t want my son to read later that I said bad things about his father. I think that really shows superhuman powers.”
What does Rachel say?
It’s no secret that Rachel can drink Monique’s blood. And yet it is precisely those two ladies who have the largest role in the docuseries after André.
Radio 538 slime dress Frank Dane had Rachel on the phone last week. For unknown reasons, he started sticking feathers in Monique’s bottom against Rachel: “I think Monique is a star. I’ve actually never seen Monique speak for a long time anywhere and now I did and then I thought: wow. That impressed me.”
‘Very neat’
Frank to Rachel: “Didn’t you think Monique was a star in the documentary?”
Rachel ice cold and measured: “I think everyone is very neat in the documentary.”
Frank: “Because I didn’t know her at all and I thought: wow, you can put that into words.”
Rachel: “Yes, she certainly could. Yes Yes.”
