Angela de Jong is razed to the ground by Kitty Herweijer, columnist for De Telegraaf. She finds the AD opinion diva irritating, shameless, exhausting and smug.
No one was able to get Linda de Mol more on the shelf during the abuse riot around The Voice than Angela de Jong. The opinion diva of the AD charges that the former TV queen has concealed Ali B’s misconduct. Linda was not served by that criticism: bubbling with anger, she tapped a piece and someone also put that on Linda.nl.
Wisdom in lease
Telegraaf columnist Kitty Herweijer does not think Linda’s statement is very strong, but in the meantime she enjoys the fact that she has sabbed down the ‘intensely false’ Angela. “It was all pretty intense that statement from Linda, but I had to laugh that she called Angela false,” she says in the Telegraaf podcast. Kitty agrees completely. She criticizes Angela’s opinion that Linda should have reported the abuse allegations against Ali B a year and a half ago to her brother John de Mol. “With all the knowledge afterwards. That is always so irritating of course about Angela de Jong. He always has all wisdom in a monopoly.”

Her co-host Elif Isitman, parliamentary reporter for De Telegraaf, cynically: “Yes, but she only asks questions and is just a normal citizen who just worries about a lot of things, right?”
Kitty: “Yes, that’s a good summary of our Angela. Georgina Verbaan tweeted about her last week: ‘That Angela de Jong still drives to the right studio every day…’ It really was Angela de Jong’s week, wasn’t it?”
Elif: “She was more in the public eye than Linda herself!”

Angela makes Kitty vomit. “That woman was really at the forefront of everything. She is also shameless. She has the upper hand on everything, even on legal subjects. So someone said at Beau’s talk show table: ‘What if someone sticks their tongue in your mouth or suddenly kisses you?’”
“Then she says with a kind of straight face as if she were all legal [kennis heeft]: ‘RAPE!’ While there are just lawyers sitting around the table who then have to say: ‘Uh no, that’s not rape.’ A really tiresome woman.”
bad journalist
Angela is also a bad journalist, according to Kitty. During the Voice riot, Angela quoted statements by a Voice cameraman in her column, but they turned out to be from a schizophrenic Twitter account. “She had just written that as truth in her column,” said a bewildered Kitty.
“Then you call yourself a journalist, while you just list random people who say things on Twitter as a source in a very large newspaper. (…) It is very strange that you call yourself a journalist and put this as a source in your column.”

Does Kitty have anything else off the mind? “What I also find very irritating about Angela de Jong is that she has a very annoyingly self-satisfied attitude and what I find annoying is that she actually hates TV. I never feel like she likes TV. Everything shows that she doesn’t like TV at all.”
“She always just pisses everything off and then not in a funny, polemical way, but really in such a housewives-dragonfly-toon-bitch way. That makes her really annoying.”
‘Done with that woman’
Elif: “But enough about Angela, I’m done with that woman now. It is really sick that she has become The Smartest Person of the Netherlands. You can already see that the quiz is not quite right.”
