Angela de Jong ran into Even Tot Hier’s studio last night after the presentation duo made a joke about her many media appearances. “Did you talk about Johan Derksen?!”
Niels van der Laan and Jeroen Woe are back on television. The men of Even Tot Hier made a number of jokes about Johan Derksen and the candle riot yesterday in the season opener. “Just for me: are we really going to talk about him?”, Jeroen initially wonders. Niels: “It’s possible for a while, isn’t it?”
‘Oh no!’
Jeroen then starts running through the set for seconds. “What is it? What are you doing now?” Niels asks. Jeroen: “Yes, no, I’m a little scared. Whenever it’s about Johan Derksen on TV, Angela de Jong suddenly comes running in. But there isn’t one, I’ve looked.”
Fearing a performance by Angela, the gentlemen then do their best not to mention Johan Derksen’s name anymore. “What were we talking about?” they wonder after a while. Then Johan’s name appears on the screen. “Oh, no, no, no!”
Angela shows up
Just then, the real Angela appears in the setting of Even Tot Hier. “Were you talking about Johan Derksen?”
Jeroen: “I told you so!”
Niels: “No, we weren’t talking about Johan Derksen, we’re not going to talk about it either!”
Angela: “Really?!”
The gentlemen: “Ksssst! Ksssst!”
Then Angela will walk. Jeroen: “I told you so! We shouldn’t be talking about it either. Is she gone?”
At the end of the episode, the gentlemen point out the return of Johan Derksen once more, after which they walk out of the set. Angela then suddenly walks towards them: “Did you talk about Johan Derksen?!”
Ali and The Voice
Jokes were also made in Even Tot Hier about the abuse case surrounding The Voice, for example when it was about the millions of euros that flow to Russia every day. Jeroen: “Just imagine: 800 million a day! It looks like the reports against Ali B. It’s so much!”
And about the shortage of beds for refugees after corona: “Yes, you actually only had The Voice of Holland. If you knocked on that door, you would be in someone’s bed the same night. But nowhere else!”
Winston
Winston Gerschtanowitz was also slapped. When Jeroen points out the howitzers donated to Ukraine that are useless without proper training, he says: “It all looks very fancy, but it’s no use.”
Niels: “A bit like Winston Gerschtanowitz. You know that feeling. That you think: wow, but…”
