Henny Huisman is very disappointed that Angela de Jong is constantly talking so negatively about him. He thinks she doesn’t like him personally. “She has a bit of a peck at me.”
Five more nights of sleep and then Henny Huisman will travel with five other TV seniors for the new season of Beter Laat Dan Nooit. In itself, Angela de Jong is quite curious about the series because of the tour guide on duty, Estavana Polman, but: “Henny Huisman, that you have to go out with it, man… (…) I think it’s a bit sad.”

It is not the first time that Angela has lashed out at Henny. He doesn’t know where that comes from. “I’ve never met Angela in my life,” he responds to Radio 538. “I think Angela has a bit of a peck at me. I do not know why. Someone can just find you really annoying all at once and I think she has that with me.”
Henry is used to it. ” It used to be the case with television critics that they always didn’t praise me very much. At my first Televizier-Ring, I listed all the horrible things they wrote about me at the ceremony. All the rubbish they wrote about me, like: ‘Henny Huisman has a head like a lump of clay.’”

That Angela is full of prejudices, Henny thinks. “We still have to leave. If you still say: she saw the first broadcast and then says: ‘Gaddamme, what an annoying guy, he just wanted to be in the picture’… But we still have to record it! We don’t leave until next Monday.”
He concludes: “If you start shouting something in advance about what still needs to be recorded, then I think you are acting very strangely as a television critic.”
