Angela de Jong thinks that Mark Rutte would do well to join the men of Today Inside in the run-up to the elections. “He would do great.”

Prime Minister Mark Rutte sat at Eva Jinek’s talk show table for a long one-on-one interview last night. The result is a bit disappointing, because Jinek was the least watched talk show of the evening. The winner was again Today Inside, but that program is reportedly not very popular with politicians.

Eve’s turn

AD opinion diva Angela de Jong knows why the prime minister was with Jinek of all places. Because it was her turn again. After all, his previous talk show appearance was at Op1 ”, she writes in her column.

Rutte gave an interview to Sven Kockelmann at the end of September. “If he really wanted to distribute his TV interviews fairly, he would have chosen Khalid & Sophie or Today Inside. But I think everyone understands why those shows were canceled.”

Button extra

Khalid & Sophie because of the very left-wing image and Today Inside because of the politically incorrect image. “Although I just have the idea that the prime minister, especially if he opens his collar an extra button, would do an excellent job at the table with Genee, Gijp and Derksen.”

Nevertheless, Johan Derksen has recently been quite negative about Rutte, for whom he voted in the previous elections. “He may have a big mouth about someone, but as soon as that person is sitting next to him, he is often a sweetheart.”

Self confidence

Angela, herself also a conservative voter, thinks that Rutte has done well at Jinek. And not only him, but also the hostess on duty.

“Eva and Mark have helped each other enormously.”
