Former international Ernie Brandts and NOS reporter Andy Houtkamp will join the last broadcast of De Kick-off before the World Cup tonight. In addition to the World Cup, the table also discusses the first half of the season of Ajax, AZ and FC Volendam in the Eredivisie.
Houtkamp judges harshly about the closing gate: “The difference between the first and the premier league is very big. Just look at Robert Mühren.” The Volenda player scored 3 goals in 13 games, while he almost ran one on one in the last seasons in the first division.
“Wim has a clear vision and is not someone who screws someone”
Brandts is milder and has confidence in trainer Wim Jonk, who has been receiving a lot of criticism lately, partly because of the passing of striker Henk Veerman. “Wim has a clear vision and is not someone who screws someone.”

28-time international Brandts is optimistic about the chances of the Dutch national team in Qatar. “I expect a lot from it, especially with Louis van Gaal. He has everything under tight control. I see them reaching the last four.” Houtkamp says jokingly: “I sink they come an end….”
