One of the most expected – one could also say: most surprising – tours starts in less than two months. The focus is of course on the Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel. But the legal line-up is slowly forming for the Oasis reunion.

Although it has already been suspected, Andy Bell now confirms that he is again on the road as a bass player.

Andy Bell: (almost) from the start

To say Andy Bell is a veteran of the band is actually wrong-he replaced Oasis founding member Paul McGuigan in 1999-but he remained an integral part until the Oasis was dissolved. During this time he also contributed song ideas himself.

After the most famous sibling dispute in recent rock history, Bell then followed Liam Gallagher in his post-oasis project Beady Eye. So he is very familiar to the fans.

So it should be all the more pleased that Bell now confirmed his official participation in the world tour in an interview “OE24”: “Yes, I’m there and I am looking forward to it. We’ll see you on tour. Or rather you because I will hardly be able to discover you in the audience!”

Oasis reunion: line-up suspected beforehand

Andy Bell’s participation in the tour had already been suspected in advance. In March, “NME” had already indicated the line-up of the live occupation through people from the inner Oasis district, but there was no official confirmation at the time.

In addition to Andy Bell, a number of other Oasis originals should also support the band from Manchester. Gem Archer will be at the guitar, who once replaced Bonhead and also played from 1999 to the bitter end. In addition to Beady Eye, he was also involved in Noel’s band High Flying Birds.

But Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs cannot be taken away from the British rockers either. However, a new face can also be seen: Joey Waronker will sit on the drums, he had previously worked with Rem, Roger Waters and Elliott Smith.

The Oasis tour has so far surrounded a total of 41 concerts and is once moving across the globe. Germany dates are not there, however.
