Andrea Delogu and her 24-year-old boyfriend: confession

“TO 40 years is not over. In fact, it all started for me.” Andrea Delogu this is how she tells of her present time as a professionally satisfied woman and very much in love. Of a man, a model, who is 16 years younger than her. And, you know, if the genders were reversed, and it was “she” who was 24, the interest and the controversy would have already ended.

He, or rather the “young man” of the situation, is – moreover – a model, Louis Brunowhich in the heart of the presenter has taken the place previously occupied by Francis Montanari, actor, 38 years old. Her husband from 2016 to 2021. «Once I got married I felt that something was missing, I wasn’t complete, and I didn’t understand why. The goal in theory had been achieved but evidently it wasn’t mine. And when the love affair with Francesco ended, everyone thought I was sick. The hardest thing was to make people understand that I was fine, and that my life wasn’t over.”

To completely change the cards on the table, the new love. «I had lost my enthusiasm. Instead, too thanks to Luigi, everything is new again». And she proves it, with irony and lightheartedness, by filming herself while she kisses him.

The presenter is not satisfied with challenging the gossips by publicizing her relationship but points the finger at it «the society» that «wants to stick an expiration date on us womenwants us to feel out of the game, failures if we are not married, mothers. How many of us are subjected to the very violent question: ‘Do you have children?’».

The theater show about 40 years

The theme is so dear to her that Delogu has built a theatrical show on it. She is titled “40 and I’m. Sentimental Rudeness Survival Manual», which he takes around Italy with success.

“At first I was afraid, too much age difference”

Even Andrea Delogu admits that she herself had some reluctance to start a love story with such a younger boy. «At first I too was afraid: the age difference was too much, it couldn’t be done. After six, seven months, however, he looked at me and said: “We are not dating, we are together. You’re my girlfriend, I’m your boyfriend.” And I said to myself: but why do I have to ruin the present thinking about the future?».

And to those who say «it could be your son»…

To those who criticize her and, above all, to those who judge her with phrases such as “I would never be with someone who could be my son”, the presenter replies bluntly. «But I wonder, if your son fell in love with an older and smarter, wouldn’t you be happy? Young people, on the other hand, don’t pay attention to the difference in age: when Luigi took me among his friends, no one was surprised to see me with him. Many of his peers are with older women.’

Andrea Delogu and motherhood

Delogu also tackles the children’s chapter: he had looked for them with Francesco Montanari but today «I’m not looking for them because I understood that maybe I never wanted them so much, I don’t have the desire or the need to be a mother to be complete». Otherwise, she says, she would have made different choices. “I wouldn’t be with such a young man, maybe I would have frozen my eggs, which I didn’t.”

The end of the marriage with Francesco Montanari

In the past, the presenter had given several details about the end of love. Still Frbefore the definitive separation, she said she was sure of his betrayals “But I don’t have the proof and I let it go”. She also confided that she had been undergoing analysis for 4 years and that she had also brought her husband there. «Francesco left me twice and when we started again, mindful of all the pain I had felt for him, because I had decided that he was the man of my life, I told him ‘ok, let’s get back together but you go to analysis, because I don’t want to live with a man who is one day sick, one day a murderer, one day the happiest man alive’, because this is life with an actor”.
