Andrea Agnelli, reduced disqualification for the salary manoeuvre

The appeal of the former Juventus president was partially accepted, the fine was also reduced

Andrea Agnelli’s appeal to the federal court of appeal has been partially accepted for the so-called “salary maneuver”, a case dating back to when he was still president of Juventus during and after the 2020 lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and the related stop to football played (and to the public in stadiums once matches have restarted). The result of this partial acceptance of the appeal is a double reduction for Agnelli: the disqualification drops from 16 to 10 months, the fine from 60,000 to 40,000 euros. The two measures had been decided by the national federal court.
