It caused a shock wave four months ago: André van Duin revealed that he was being blackmailed. That whole riot has now been flattened, but what was he threatened with?
André van Duin himself announced the blackmail case at the time because he wanted to keep control in his own hands, in case the blackmailer dirt actually throw it on the street. Initially, André promised to reveal what the blackmail was all about: “As soon as possible. When that is… We hope maybe next week. I don’t know.”
André is silent
In the end it never happened, not even when the blackmailer surrendered himself and apologized. André didn’t want to say anything anymore: “I’m a little careful with my answers, because you say so much and then it ends up in all kinds of channels and then it is explained differently again.”
The megastar feared that the blackmail gossip would still harm him: “The whole world is listening in and everything you say I read back within five minutes on all kinds of channels in other forms, so you shouldn’t have that.”

To this day, however, Yvonne Coldeweijer is still curious, she admits to her juice channel. “He did then teased as if he was going to tell it soon, but that was never the plan, of course.”
Why not then? “There is always someone who then hears what he was blackmailed with and thinks: hmm, there must be some truth in it. That’s why I still want to know. 🤣”

If André’s blackmailer still reports to the media, he can not only go to the juice channels. Omroep Brabant said it was also open to it. “It might be interesting to see what drove this gentleman or madam to do this at André van Duin,” said editor-in-chief Renzo Veenstra earlier.
Chances are small: André decided after the blackmailer’s apologies not to press charges, but he probably had to promise never to go public with the story.
