A man who competed in Australia’s X-Factor is accused of murdering a baby.

Competed in the Australian X Factor in 2011 Mitchell Callaway accused of murdering a nine-month-old baby.
The events take place in July 2018, when the emergency center was notified of a lifeless baby. The child was rushed to the hospital, but he soon died despite rescue efforts.
The case has been investigated for five years, and now in May 2023, the police investigating the baby’s death received additional information about the case and conducted a search of Callaway’s apartment. He was arrested on Wednesday, June 8, on suspicion of murdering a child.

The man will be heard in court next week. From the information obtained by the Guardian, it is not clear whether the child was Callaway’s.
Mitchell Callaway appeared on The X Factor in 2011 and finished seventh in the entire competition.
