André van Duin causes a hefty quarrel between Shownieuws colleagues

André van Duin causes a hefty quarrel between Shownieuws colleagues and archenemies Evert Sankrediets and Guido den Aantrekker. “I’m not getting married at all,” says the comedian himself.

Last week, the Story made a big splash with the news that André van Duin wants to get married. Not surprising: the comedian told a reporter of the magazine about it a hundred times, after which his manager also confirmed the news to RTL Boulevard. However, it seems that André has some regrets about his statements.

To marry or not to marry?

André announced at the beginning of this year that he had found his new love in Fernando Reyes. Since it was only about two years after the death of his ex-husband Martin, the comedian feared how this would fall with the general public. He was afraid that people would find this ‘too soon’.

It could just be that André fears that again, because he suddenly swallows his wedding plans completely. He has called in his good press contact Evert Sankrediets, the editor-in-chief of the Privé, for this. Last week, the day after the publication of competitor Story, Evert said that the wedding story was absolutely wrong.

Guido responds

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker thinks it’s bland of Evert. “If as a ‘competitor’ you miss the news, and you try to straighten it out for yourself in this way, haha. André’s management has confirmed it after our story,” he tweeted.

Evert, meanwhile, is holding his ground. He says in Shownieuws: “André’s manager called me, while the news was not in my magazine at all. He said: ‘Pooh, pooh, well, well, marry André van Duin? Can you see it?’ I said, ‘No, not really.’”

It is then a mystery why that same manager confirmed André’s statements to RTL Boulevard.

What does Andre say?

Now André responds himself. He says in front of the Shownieuws camera: “I am not getting married at all. I simply yelled: ‘Yes, that could very well be one day.’ That’s all I said. I didn’t say, ‘Can I have some attention? We’re getting married!’ I didn’t say that at all. We might get married someday, but not now.”

Is there no date yet? “No, nothing at all. That’s a bit premature.”

Evert gets gram

Evert sat at the desk of Shownieuws yesterday during these statements by André, rubbing hands. In this way he gets his gram from Guido. “It’s all a bit painful, because it’s not that long ago that Martin passed away,” said the magazine maker.

Meanwhile, Patty Brard sneezes at the jokes Evert hands out to Guido. “So no marriage?”

Evert: “No”

Not any time soon

Tooske Ragas corrects her colleagues: “Not for now. He didn’t say no.”

Evert: “Are you starting again?”

Bart Ettekoven: “Someone just said no very clearly.”

Tooske: “No, that’s not true. He didn’t say that. Well, guys.”

Natacha Harlequin: “Not yet.”

Tooske: “Exactly, thank you, Natacha.”

Evert and Guido can’t stand each other. The gentlemen don’t even want to sit at the desk of Shownieuws together.
