André Hazes Jr. is pushing his ‘grand comeback’ to the end of 2023. He mirrors himself to world star Adele, who has also been absent for a long time. That reports Private boss Evert Sankrediets.
Even before the turn of the year it was announced that André Hazes Jr. has also taken the whole of 2022 off. He can now often be found in the United States, where he is not only working on a docusoap but also finding inspiration for the “grand comeback” he is working on. Now, according to Privé, it appears that he will not return to the spotlight until the end of 2023.

Private boss Evert Sankrediets has heard from sources that a decision was made about this very recently, namely just before his current love holiday with Monique Westenberg. She flew to New York on Monday to investigate together with André how they can shape their blinking light relationship.
Evert tells on his page Private that André wants to do everything he can to make things right again. “Private hears that André is serious from a very reliable inside source, who can report that the singer is now putting everything aside for it: even his career.”
‘Team is angry’
André’s comeback should be very big and consist of a concert tour and the docuseries or film he is shooting. But that will have to wait until the end of 2023. “It is precisely this decision that causes great unrest and even resentment among his entourage, the team that largely depends on him for their own income.”
The people who stood behind André for years now find new artists to work with. For example, they switch over to Mart Hoogkamer, the rising star who will be in Rotterdam’s Ahoy this weekend.

Just like André, Mart is also a folk singer, but has much more of the gun factor. Some people even think André will be driven out by Mart. “André hears and sees it all, but it’s not that he thinks: ‘I can go and watch out. Let me go do something again’”, an insider says to Privé.
André thinks his stardom is too great to be forgotten. Evert: “In the small circle around him there is the impression that André Hazes mirrors himself to world star Adele, who sometimes takes years off.”

André is not afraid that people will no longer want him, says the insider. “André, however, is not rushed. He is convinced that the public will embrace him again as soon as he reports to go back to work and he could be very right about that.”
For now André focuses on his private life and it would not surprise Evert, just like Yvonne Coldeweijer, if André and Monique returned married. That could happen in Las Vegas, for example.
‘Very strange!’
The men of Today Inside think it’s strange that André stays away for so long. “How is that possible if you are dealing with a burnout and you know that you will not come back until autumn next year? Isn’t that absurd?” Wilfred Genee responds.

Wilfred: “You can’t imagine that someone is disabled for so long at that age, can you?”
