André Hazes Jr. says that he has overcome ‘a lot of addictions’ in the past year. What exactly is he referring to? Evert Sanwaarden has an idea: “Drinks, drugs and steroids.”
Together with his mother, André Hazes Jr. lied for no less than a year about his addictions and his rehab process. At the beginning of the week, the singer admitted that he did indeed suffer from “a lot of addictions”. Juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer had known this for a long time: she already reported about it last year, right up to his steroid addiction.

Now Private boss Evert Sankrediets also dares to say that out loud. “When you talk about addictions, you can think of three at once: alcohol, drugs and steroids. You can train hard, but the speed with which Dreetje became a Michelin man borders on the unbelievable. I think he’s getting honest about that now in that docusoap,” he says in Strictly Private.
André will come later this year with a docusoap at RTL’s Videoland, in which he will talk candidly about all his addictions. It is used as a PR machine to generate attention for his comeback and to boost ticket sales for the Holland Zingt Hazes concert series.
Cashing Andre
One thing is certain, according to Evert: the lucrative concert series Holland Zingt Hazes could use a helping hand. “André saves that Holland Zingt Hazes, because it was not such a success last year. People came back very disappointed because it was more of the same again.|
He continues: “A Holland Zingt Hazes without Hazes, and only with Roxeanne, that was not a great success, so the choice not to come back to Holland Zingt Hazes next autumn but next spring was received with applause from the makers of that Ziggo- production, because you can sell tickets on that.”
Four evenings
André’s comeback will yield a lot of money, according to Evert. “Two nights have now been booked and count on it going to be four more now that he’s back in the game. That is also good for Dré’s wallet, who can share a lot in this.”
