André Hazes Jr. is threatening a lawsuit against his mother Rachel Hazes. If she continues to spread lies, he says, it is inevitable. “I don’t accept it.”
What a treat for the show media: a lawsuit between André Hazes Jr. and his wild mother Rachel Hazes is in the air. Hopefully the two will take Yvonne Coldeweijer’s maternity leave into account for a while, but when the hazologist is back, they can go all out in what already promises to be the process of 2024.
Afraid of André
André reveals in the latest episode of his real-life soap, which aired last night Videoland has been posted that he put aside his manager Ricardo Klaverdijk because he did not want to give up his role as Rachel’s supervisor. “I was sitting on the couch and then I received a text message about a lawsuit my mother was having at the time.”
During a lawsuit against her ex-bestie Marieke van Beek, Rachel said that she converted a savings account into a cash account in 2016. and/and account, with her former business partner Rob Israël. “Because I was afraid that an addicted son would show up on my doorstep. So it was like protection.”
‘F*cking intense’
In other words: Rachel was afraid that André would force her to transfer money, and that would therefore not be possible without Rob’s permission. It was also discussed in the case that Rachel wanted to hire guidance from criminal Klaas Otto for that reason. “I was going through a difficult phase with my son at the time and felt like I could use guidance.”
What nonsense, André responds in his documentary. “That was 2016, the year my son was born. I wasn’t addicted yet. (…) In other words: in 2016 she felt threatened by me, which forced her to hire such a man. Yes, I find that really f*cking intense in a courtroom. Mainly because it’s not true, you know?”
Save your own ass
Rachel broke up with André. He is now threatening a lawsuit. “It can make me very angry. I’ve been trying to keep the respect for a year, but it can’t help but disappear. This is just going too far. I don’t want to be drawn into lies to save your own ass. That just goes too far.”
And then? “I sent a text message to Ricardo: ‘Are you fully aware that because of things like this there is a chance that my mother and I will one day end up in a courtroom?’ Because I don’t accept this. And: ‘You have two sides in a courtroom. Which side are you going to sit on?’ He couldn’t answer that.”
Unbearable
André has now exchanged Ricardo for Karin Hermans. “I then told him that I want him to make a choice and that he can no longer do both. She made that situation unbearable for him.”
However, Ricardo did not want to choose. He himself explains: “It’s like saying to a child: ‘Daddy and mommy are getting divorced and you now have to choose between mommy or daddy.’ That’s almost impossible.”
André: “Then it is logical that I decide not to continue together.”
