After a period of rumors, Rachel Hazes confirmed at the beginning of January that there is disturbed contact with her son André Hazes Jr. She denied that this had anything to do with the leaking of his letter to Sarah van Soelen. “This is due to an incident that occurred a few weeks before the leak.”

Charm offensive

The contact between André and Rachel is still not optimal. Her confidant Guido den Aantrekker said less than a month ago that he thinks André should be more there for his mother now that she is under such fire. Rachel is accused of being a scrounger after being exposed as a fake heir by daughter Roxeanne.

According to Guido’s magazine Story, the rumor that André will join his sister’s legal battle after the current Holland Zingt Hazes concert series is nonsense. This week the magazine talks about a reconciliation between mother and son. It is not clear whether that is authentic or part of Rachel’s charm offensive.

Doodle on head

The fact is that André briefly scratched Rachel’s head during his big comeback at Holland Zingt Hazes yesterday when he walked past her while singing. “Maybe a little reconciliation,” notes the juice channel Reality FBI on.

André has on after the concert Show news let it be known that there is no quarrel at all. “I saw my mother at the rehearsal day and also just here. I don’t mess with my mom, do I?”

Take distance

Then what’s going on? “It’s just that we’ve distanced ourselves a little bit, which might be very healthy at this age, but I’m not fighting or anything. There is no uncomfortable atmosphere here and for the observant viewer, because I walked past her in the room, then I just give a pat on the head, you know”, says André.

The folk singer is all done with fuss. “I don’t feel like messing around with anyone anymore. I don’t have it with myself anymore, it’s okay.”

Mustard after croquette

It is quite possible that André and Rachel have been warned by their team that the family feud that has gotten out of hand has an impact on their income and that they are therefore seeking rapprochement again in the public eye.

This week, Rachel already posted a video of her handing out croquettes to the Holland Zingt Hazes team, but that was also directed according to Private boss Evert Santegoeds. “God, that has been thought about, say. Two months too late, of course. It’s a little mustard after the croquettes. It is a pity that she only now sees the humor in it.”
