André Hazes Jr. sees the quarrel with his old musical team reaching boiling point. Both Bram Koning and Edwin van Hoevelaak want to be removed from the second part of his docusoap.
History repeats itself: for the second time, André Hazes Jr.’s Videoland docusoap is being tampered with. Where it was Sarah van Soelen who managed to be removed from that soap last year, it is now Bram Koning and Edwin van Hoevelaak demanding that they be dropped from the upcoming second part.
Annoying interviews
Bram and Edwin have been at odds with André ever since he jerkily dumped them as his musical team. But they still collaborated on the second part of his Videoland documentary. “Yes, together with Edwin I was asked for it in the early stages. When he had just made the choice to go in a different direction with music.”
He continues in the Weekend: “We knew that he eventually wanted something different, so that was not the problem at all. It’s not about that, it’s about how. Annoying interviews about ‘his old team’ followed and things went from bad to worse. Our pants kept falling down.”
‘We want out of documentary’
Now Bram and Edwin don’t want to appear in that documentary at all, just like Sarah did then. “Shortly afterwards, we decided not to help André with his documentary anymore.”
He continues: “Edwin and I have both sent an e-mail that we absolutely do not want to go into it. But so far we have not received a response back confirming that we are being taken out.”
Regrettably
André doesn’t seem to plan it. He thinks that he is structurally blackened by the gentlemen and says in the same magazine: “What is unfortunate about this whole situation is that what they say is actually not true. I’m glad that I’m being followed for a second part of my documentary and that it really contains the truth, instead of what comes out of their mouths.”
He continues: “I will never say a bad word about them because I had a great time with them. It’s a pity that this is how it is now. Only: I can look at myself in the mirror. Because how it went is not as they say. But luckily that will be in the documentary.”
New single
Lately André has released one new single after another, but they all flop. Now he comes with a song about his son. Inappropriate, says Yvonne Coldeweijer. She writes: “This is getting sadder and sadder. Using the son to beg the people for a hit.”
According to Yvonne, it is not the first time. “André has already released a song for his son, at a totally inappropriate moment, namely when he had just exchanged Monique for Sarasoel. He later regretted that.”
