André Hazes Jr. has kicked off all his addictions after a year, but that does not mean that he wants to pick up the thread again with Sarah van Soelen. “We have no contact ourselves,” she says.
Sarah van Soelen was unexpectedly dumped a year ago by André Hazes Jr. She thought for a long time that he would return to her. “We have decided together, in a face to face conversation, to take a break,” she said just before Christmas. “He has a lot to process and rest is important. I understand him and I support him.”
Sarah responds
Only when André was intimately entwined with his blinking fiancée Monique Westenberg on the cover of Privé in May, Sarah’s blinders fell off. “If he thinks this will make him happy, he should do it,” she grumbled. “I don’t need André Hazes for anything. You get a lot of lies. I fit for that.”
Three months later, last Monday, André announced his return to the media. Sarah responds to this at RTL Boulevard. “I hope he is doing well and that he has recovered. I know he went through a dark period. I was there myself and it was very sad to see.”
‘Dearest I know’
Sarah is suddenly a lot milder. “We did everything we could and let him help. I hope he has learned a lot for himself, knows what he likes, has good people around him and has learned to bite off and keep his feet on the ground because he can handle this. He is the sweetest I know.”
She also hands out compliments to former mother-in-law Rachel. “I am also proud of his mother who took care of him day and night. She really cared about him.”
No more contact
Has André already sent an app to Sarah? No, she says. “We have no contact ourselves. I am very sorry because I also lost my buddy. I know he has a heart of gold and my door is always open for him.”
According to Yvonne Coldeweijer, she doesn’t have to count on it either. “He has lost contact with her because he thinks she’s a psycho. No apps, no DM, no calls, NOTHING. And then do such an interview. So cringe I can’t take it ?.”
