André Hazes Jr. may have announced his comeback, but that does not mean that he will pick up all his former jobs again. For example, he leaves his monthly column for what it is.
As if he wasn’t in the spotlight enough, André Hazes Jr. started writing a monthly column for Veronica Superguide last June – just before his burnout. The folk singer wrote in his piece about all kinds of this and that. With his first column he really managed to reach all the media.
Ghostwriter
Rob Goossens, the media expert of RTL Boulevard, quickly claimed that André did not write his columns at all himself, but that he used a ghostwriter. He suspected Story boss Guido den Aantrekker of writing the pieces. He is a close friend of the Hazes family and responsible for Veronica Superguide at DPG.
Guido emphatically denied that: “Haha, you know me as an honest person, Rob. And I didn’t contribute a letter to this. Wasn’t necessary with Dries in Story at the time either. Natural talents .”
Rumors
However, the rumors persisted and Wilfred Genee also discussed them on the radio at one point. “As far as I know, he wrote the column himself,” Guido finally responded.
Did André really write it all himself? “You have to imagine that of course – and that also applies to the journalists who work for our magazines – a final editing process still goes through. That also makes sense. Even the very best journalists in the Netherlands are still edited by an editor.”
Andre not back
Whether André wrote the pieces himself or not: in any case, his column will no longer appear in the magazine. “No, he’s not going to do that,” Veronica Superguide tells the juice channel Reality FBI succinctly.
In the meantime, Yvonne Coldeweijer wonders whether André will do anything at all, apart from his announced performance at Holland Zingt Hazes in March 2023. “Which is rather strange; There are no other performances planned at all. Although he announces a comeback, his agenda remains closed,” she says.
‘No sense’
It seems that André does not feel like a comeback at all, according to Yvonne. “André only does Holland Zingt Hazes, but rumor has it that he doesn’t feel like coming back at all. He only does this for his documentary and to please his mother.”
According to Yvonne, André’s announced comeback is cleverly timed to accommodate the alleged departure of Roxeanne Hazes at the Holland Zingt Hazes concerts. In fact, the message in which he announces his return was written entirely by Rachel, according to her.
