André Hazes Jr. has not celebrated a package evening with his son for the first time, reports Private boss Evert Santegoeds. “He is currently in Orlando. Either way, it’s not going well.”
André Hazes jr.’s son is lucky to have such a nurturing mother, because dad is very busy with his own hobbies and sun holidays. While Monique Westenberg organized a festive package evening for their son yesterday, André was relaxing in the American sun, according to Private boss Evert Santegoeds.
André misses Sinterklaas
Evert finds it strange that André only followed the Sinterklaas celebration through photos on his phone. “I understand he’s back in Orlando, Florida. Then we know in which hotel. He would have left for America again after his writing session last week,” he says in the podcast Strictly Private.
It is unique that André missed the children’s party, says Evert. “How well he is doing, the stories differ a bit. But the fact that he lets Sinterklaas shoot is the first time in the existence of little Dreetje. He has always thought about that extensively every year.”
‘It’s not going well’
Colleague Jordi Versteegden wonders if it has anything to do with the media row about his leaked farewell letter to Sarah van Soelen. “There are people who link that to the leaking of that personal letter and that Rachel might or might not be behind it.”
Evert: “Well, André is not doing well anyway, I believe that too. If people thought there was light at the end of the tunnel when the documentary came out, then I think they cheered too soon. There is just something very wrong with him and he still has to work on it.”
Flight behavior
At the moment André is also in the news negatively, because he left his old writing team without informing them. His former lyricist says he even has heart problems.
Evert: “These are all signs that you don’t have it all figured out. When he is gone now, it is Dré’s typical escape behavior again.”
