André Hazes Jr. has indeed bought a semi-detached house in Wilnis, a hamlet that is a stone’s throw from his infamous mother Rachel. “The neighbors are not happy about it.”

The discovery of juice channels that André Hazes Jr. has bought a semi-detached house in Wilnis turns out to be correct. A reporter from Shownieuws has called the current residents and they confirm the news, said show expert Bart Ettekoven in yesterday evening’s broadcast.

André buys house

It concerns an energy-efficient new-build home from 2020, which was for sale for no less than 8.5 tons. André will then receive 177 square meters of living space in return. “The new De Maricken district is located on the edge of Wilnis, close to the border with Mijdrecht. The district is characterized by the abundance of greenery and the wide avenues,” the Funda advertisement reads.

What do the current residents have to say about it? Bart: “They eventually came out. They have confirmed to us that it is indeed André Hazes who has bought their house, so we can officially report it here. For 848 thousand euros – at least, that was the asking price.”

No privacy

Bart finds it remarkable that André’s choice fell on this house. “It’s a nice semi-detached house, but I immediately thought: it really is in a street with many houses. I mean: from the backyard, there are at least five other houses looking into his backyard. It is not that you say: it is a nice privacy-pleasant place.”

Colleague Tooske Ragas worried: “You get a bit of Meiland scenes. That’s why they left, right?”

Bart: “We also spoke to some people who live in the area and they are also quite concerned about the peace and quiet.”

Hazes family friend Guido den Aantrekker: “I think it’s not too bad.”

People at the door

No fence and no driveway: will André not be bothered by pushy fans or one of his hysterical exes? Bart: “I used to live not so far from Connie Witteman in Voorburg, I grew up there and there were people regularly standing in front of the door for a photo with an autograph. I think that time is a bit over.”

William Rutten: “Well, I recently understood that Frans Bauer still rings the doorbell a few times a day.”

Bart: “Yes, but I think it might be less with André Hazes.”

Safety net

Guido thinks it’s a good choice. “What I do like is that you notice that in neighborhoods where Dutch celebrities live, they eventually always stand up for those celebrities and form a safety net.”

He noticed it himself once when he tried to photograph a celebrity with a paparazzo. “Then they are always warned: ‘There are photographers in the street!’ I think that’s very good.”

William: “At least the neighborhood can earn some extra money with those juice channels.”
