André Hazes Jr.’s request to his fans to come to his new theater shows in ‘Neat Clothing’ has caused quite a bit of surprise. Ronnie Tober (80) also finds it exaggerated. “It is a theater concert and then you cannot demand that the audience comes in a costume or ball dress. It’s not a gala, so then you don’t have to be dressed that way!”

Saskia and Serge (78 and 79) also find it heavily exaggerated. “That is enormously exaggerated for his music. He is of course free to ask that, but he may lose part of his audience.”
There are also artists who do understand André. For example, Dries Roelvink thinks it is beautiful: “I once gave a dinner show in the Hilton Hotel. The dress code for men was Black Tie and women in the long. That was wonderful to see!”
