Dyantha Brooks is sure: André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg are back together. “Absolutely”, says the presenter, who recorded a Christmas special with André six months before his ‘burn-out’.
André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg are currently on holiday together again, this time on the Thai island of Koh Samui. She has already posted some pictures of it online: one of her son with a Thai monk and one in which she and her son pose at Wat Phra Yai Buddhist temple (see below).
Reconciliation Holiday
Many people do not know exactly how to interpret the current relationship between André and Monique. “Could it be a reconciliation holiday? I don’t know how to explain it exactly. They seem to be working on some sort of reconciliation attempt,” Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven told Shownieuws.
He continues: “Of course they can move more freely there. Not completely free, because the Dutch are also suffocating there. They are, of course, spread all over the world. It’s nice to see them enjoying themselves so much.”
“Absolutely so!”
Are they together again? Anouk Smulders, who became discredited after victim shaming in the Borsato case, thereupon: “My first feeling says not. I think it is really a family vacation. They do a lot of things together with little Dré. My gut feeling doesn’t say anything, but that’s not based on anything.”
Bart: “My feeling still says that I must first see and then believe. I still think maybe too much has happened.”
Dyantha Brooks thinks they’re wrong. According to her, André and Monique are together again: “I think absolutely so. So long on vacation. You share the love of your life together, namely with your child, you have beautiful moments again…”
Lots of love
Leontien van Moorsel thinks Dyantha is too firm. “Of course you have a lot of couples who are separated and do that for the child.”
Dyantha, who recorded a pretty slimy Christmas interview with André a year and a half ago, said: “Yes, but I think it will take at least five years. These are people who have experienced quite a few emotions in the past few years. From an engagement to another break-up… I think there is always a lot of love between them.”
Old mistakes
Bart does think that André and Monique should watch out. “We wholeheartedly wish them the best, but the only question is: aren’t you getting bogged down in old mistakes? It’s not for nothing that it has already gone wrong twice.”
Anouk: “Yes, but there is always room for change and improvement.”
Bart: “Yes, but basically you don’t change as a person, I don’t think. What’s in the nature of the beast doesn’t get out. There have been annoyances there and that you quickly fall back into it and then you think again…”
Private boss Evert Sankrediets is, like Dyantha, quite firm: “It looks like from all sides that he will end up with Monique. I think that if Monique takes him back, there will be a marriage.”
