André Hazes jr. gave a big performance last night at the Amsterdam Summer concert by Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam, but that was abruptly cut short. “Worthy end!”
Last year it was one big chaos: the Amsterdam Summer concerts by Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam. No one could get a drink, the noise was bad and, according to local politics, there were even ‘dangerous situationsbecause no one had figured out how the audience would get in and out of the Olympic Stadium.
Andrew cut off
You would think that Bas and Nicolette have learned their lesson, but guess what? A year later, after last night’s edition, there is yet another tsunami of negative reactions to their own Insta channel. It turns out that no one in the planning was paying attention: the concert was abruptly cut short, in the middle of a song by André Hazes jr.
André, who sees his star slowly fading, was allowed to close the evening, but he was shamelessly treated by the team of Bas and Nicolette. He started at 10:55 PM and was forced to stop at 11:10 PM after two and a half songs: in the middle of Live, his microphone was simply turned off and that was the end of the concert…
Bizarre images
Apparently there were agreements that the concert had to stop at eleven o’clock in the evening due to noise, but Bas and Nicolette don’t seem to have planned things well. And so André was brutally gagged. The images of this bizarre ending can be found on the juice channel, among others Reality FBI.
During the performance, André already shouted that he had to skip songs, a witness told the channel. “Why don’t you give an explanation about the abrupt end? In the middle of a song, like the power went out. Not professional at all. A shame because the evening deserved better,” says one Jikke on Bas and Nicolette’s Insta page.
Disrespectful
It is disrespectful to André, says Sander. “The fact that you walk out despite an artist dropping out is a party for the public, but to cut off an artist in this disrespectful way is highly unprofessional, especially for the person who wants to make a new start.”
Tess: “That ending was really not possible… In the middle of the song everything stops and no bye was said, nothing. It was like the power went out.”
And Thomas: “Why do people still go here? Always something!”
“This hit everything!”
Danielle thinks Bas and Nicolette are really bad organizers. “What a bizarre ending. Understand that there are rules regarding time, but this really hit everything. Then change something in your program so that everyone deserves a normal stage. Disrespectful to Hazes. That boy is standing there and doesn’t know where he stands!!!”
The public was also not given any explanation, according to Danielle. That just had to leave the stadium. Stephanie: “Hazes, two and a half songs. 🙈 Nice comeback for that boy, isn’t it a shame? Next time start the countdown at 7:30 PM instead of 8:00 PM.”
Bass is silent
Bas has been asked for a response by the Reality FBI, but it has not yet been given. The influencer has been busy all morning reposting compliments about how good the organization was this year… Cheers…
Tonight there is another Amsterdam Summer concert, so it will be exciting what goes wrong again. For the enthusiast: there are still tickets available. Oops, that’s coming headliner André a little too familiar for…
What does Rob say?
Rob Goossens, the authoritative TV connoisseur of RTL Boulevard, thinks this is the reason why Bas last minute canceled his live interview in Shownieuws.
He tweets: “Is also immediately explained why Bas was not in Shownieuws yesterday. This was exactly at that moment – it’s kind of weird that you’re stressed then and don’t have a nice chat with the television.”

Update 12.15 pm – Bas has still responded:
