For someone who wants to become a world star in his own country, it must be a nasty setback that his comeback is not such a success at all. “André Hazes jr. is not so relevant anymore…”
Particularly thanks to the juice Yvonne Coldeweijer made him the most talked about star in the country for at least a year and a half: André Hazes Jr. Almost every step he took was extensively mapped out by the show media, but the fire has now been extinguished a bit. The juice has run out: the folk singer has been squeezed out to the last drop.
Only two socks
André was recently on Renze Klamer’s talk show and it turned out once again that he has become a walking repetition of moves. Again that addiction, again his musical turnaround, again the hassle with his family. What people eagerly clicked on until recently has become a rock-hard road zapper in no time.
As a kind of cry for attention, André now has a photo on his Instagram in which he wears no clothes except for his socks. His beating microphone, which Monique Westenberg shares with some other ladies every so often, is hidden behind his leg. Are these the withdrawal symptoms now that he no longer controls the headlines?
‘I’ll skip it’
Yvonne deliberately ignored that photo of André on her very well-read juice channel. “I’ll skip that. I’m not posting that. Yes, then it’s really just done. That has been written off. Then you really… He found out: I have no talent, I’m going to do OnlyFans. Because that second single… I didn’t post anything about that on purpose.”
She continues in her podcast The Juice Show: “That first single was still like: hmm, plagiarism. I haven’t even heard the second one. I think I listened for ten seconds. But it doesn’t even have views on YouTube, nothing at all. Not even 50,000. Jopie has even more. Jopie Hazes. That’s very serious. That’s not just serious, that’s really…”
Non relevant
André himself thinks that he is currently less in the spotlight because ‘the juice has run out’. Yvonne: “The juice is never finished. He thinks that, he says that too, doesn’t he? He said on one of those talk shows, something like, “The juice… At some point, everything is done and discussed, I think.” Then I think: no, you are just not relevant anymore.”
And for someone like André, being irrelevant is a nightmare. Yvonne: “So this must be fake now, with all the fun and stuff. What are you joking and doing? It’s to cry! Your career, that just goes ehh…”
Out of juice?
Will Yvonne stop juicing André from now on? “Well, indirectly. Monique just keeps annoying me. I think he’s such a stupid person. Oh, what a secret that is. Oh, that girl is so transparent. Did you see how she cried when he brought cupcakes? She is, yes… that is not good.”

Yvonne is now considering giving up her title ‘Doctorandus in Hazology’. “I have doubts about my title, which is on my Instagram. My self-proclaimed title: doctorandus in hazelogy. I am thinking of distancing myself from it.”
