‘André and Monique want to show the whole world that it’s over’

The reason André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg share so many photos of their Thai vacation is because they want to show the whole world that it’s over. That is what Story boss Guido den Aantrekker says.

André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg are currently on their second holiday in a short time. The couple, who broke up again a year and a half ago, are on holiday in Thai Koh Samui. While they chose to only share photos afterwards during their previous Florida trip, they are now almost holding people in real time informed.

‘Not together anymore’

The holiday photos of André and Monique are flying around our ears. What’s going on all of a sudden? Most people sort for a love reunion, which is part of his new series on Videoland. And the fact that Monique has shared their exact whereabouts is seen by showbizwatcher as an open invitation to the press.

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker, who is traditionally always in camp Hazes, has a different theory. “I think it might also be right to show what I think is the truth, namely that they will no longer get together, Monique and André,” he says in Shownieuws.

Not happy

It won’t work at all between André and Monique, Guido explains. “There are a lot of colleagues who think differently in the profession, but André once told me that he was just not happy. Of course he left Monique twice. The first time was for Bridget, the second time for Sarah van Soelen.”

He continues: “I don’t see how if you do that twice you suddenly become happy with someone a third time. They are very fond of each other, let that be clear, and I know André a bit: when they are all on holiday together, I can imagine that they are intimate too. However, that does not mean that a relationship will start again.”

Clear signal

According to Guido, those photos are a clear signal that nothing is going on anymore. “What I think is that they want to indicate with this, and you can really see that in the photos, also on that boat, of: we are here for little André. He has to have the best, we want to do it for him,” he explains.

“So they’re doing it right, I think, with the aim of showing the world: we’re doing this as a family and you don’t have to look too much into it anymore, because there isn’t a single photo of them being intimate or seeing each other. giving a kiss. When you’re back together, you want nothing more than to show that.”

Awful

It also plays a role that André wants to prevent paparazzi from approaching them, Guido says. “André thought it was really horrible last time that the photos were taken. I think they do it out of some sort of preemptive thing. That they say: if we post photos ourselves, then it may no longer be so interesting for the media to rush us.”

So Guido knows for sure: André and Monique are no longer getting together? “You never know and again: I wholeheartedly wish them well. If they are crazy about each other and want to grow old together, then they should not fail to do so.”
