Winner of the javelin world championship in Eugene in July Anderson Peters was assaulted in his home country of Grenada earlier this month.
The spearman was attacked by a group of five men who mugged him and finally threw him into the sea from the back deck of the yacht.
In a testimony published on the NOW Grenada website, Peters tells how the events of the night that ended so darkly went according to him.
