Sweden’s top player Anders ”Masken” Carlsson looked in the mirror in 2019 as the 60th birthday was near.
– I didn’t like my mirror image. I was reluctant, tired and in places, I was stiff.
Masken then decided to commit to an ex-hockey player Calle Berglundin to recommend a 16-week super diet.
– It had exactly the daily calorie intake, dishes and exercise program. I decided to show myself that I could do this, even though it was time to kill, Masken laughs with a smile on the terrace of Tampere.
The name of the diet is descriptively “16 weeks of hell”.
– The diet was absolutely impossible: no sugar, no alcohol, no milk, no buns, no bread. The scale was in the kitchen at the Parade Ground and the jogging and gym equipment in the hallway was ready for training. I have always liked food and I cooked a lot myself.
Results came.
– I lost 24 pounds during those weeks. Now 15 pounds are still out of the 105 pounds I started with. It was hell for 16 weeks, made in SwedenMasken says.
Pictures recently published on Aftonbladet’s website tell you all about the change.
The man still enjoys food, but he eats in moderation, regularly, and knows how to avoid calorie bombs. Exercising for six World Championships, the ex-NHL player continues to play regularly.
– I go to the gym, walk and play padel and golf. I still eat a lot, but right, Masken says and takes one cold pint.
