The head of the Executive has congratulated Juanma Moreno through Twitter for the results in the regional elections but has also left a small taunt in the air: “Our party will always be the guarantor of public services, equality and social rights.”

The former Vice President of the Government has not been silent either Pablo Iglesias commented this morning, in relation to the Andalusian elections that the PP has won with an absolute majoritythat It is “a hard day” for Andalusia and Spain.

“Today is a hard day for the left in Andalusia and in Spain, but great joy comes from Colombia with the historic victory of Gustavo Petro,” Iglesias, who was secretary general of Podemos from 2014 to 2021, wrote on Twitter.

The PP has achieved a historic absolute majority in Andalusia, with 58 of the 109 seats in the Andalusian Parliamentand has curbed Vox’s expectations of entering the regional government, while the PSOE, with 30 deputies, has had its worst result, and Ciudadanos has disappeared from the parliamentary arc.

In the Colombian presidential elections, also held this Sunday, the left will win the presidency of Colombia for the first time after the triumph of former guerrilla fighter and former mayor of Bogotá Gustavo Petro, from the coalition of the Historical Pact.

For her part, the Secretary General of Podemos and Minister of Social Rights, Ione Belarrahas said on the elections in Andalusia, which the PP has won, which “It is bad news for the Andalusian people that those who cut and privatize public services continue to govern.”

For Andalusia it will form its own group with its five representatives and Adelante Andalucía has won two seats, far from the 17 they obtained together in 2018.
