DOUBLES CUP BOUZKOVA/SORRIBES TORMO’S
In doubles, the championship was won by Marie Bouzkova/Sara Sorribes Tormo. The 3rd seeded team beat Natela Dzalamidze/Kamilla Rakhimova 6-3, 6-4 in the final, thus reaching the cup in Istanbul. In the first set, when both teams broke the serve in the early part, the end of the set was reached in a balanced way. Bouzkova/Sorribes Tormo, who played a very good return game at 4-3, took the break advantage again and finished the first set with 6-3. In the second set, the serve was broken four times in the first five games. Bouzkova/Sorribes Tormo, who showed a successful performance throughout the week with their good harmony on the court, took control again in the last section and ended the game 6-4. 25-year-old Sara Sorribes Tormo and Czech racquet Marie Bouzkova achieved their third WTA doubles victory of their career, lifting the trophy for the first time together.

In the singles final of TEB BNP Paribas Tennis Championship Istanbul Women’s Tennis Tournament, Anastasia Potapova defeated Veronika Kudermetova to become the champion. The champion tennis player presented his cup to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu gave it to him. In addition, the trophies and award checks were presented to the athletes by the Minister Kasapoğlu, as well as Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) President Cengiz Durmuş, TEB Brand and Communication Management Executive Director Zeynep Demirkol and Turkuvaz Media General Manager Yasemin Gebeş.
