For four months, life became more expensive each time a little less quickly. But that came to an end this month for the time being. The inflation rate, which indicates how expensive life is compared to a year earlier, rose again (slightly). How come? Are there consequences for our wallet? And why should we keep a closer eye on core inflation? Bank economists Koen De Leus and Peter Vanden Houte explain.
