Emmanuel Macron succeeds himself as president of France. In the second round of the election, he defeated challenger Marine Le Pen by 57.9% to 42.1%. That is a big difference, but still considerably less than five years ago. Macron will start his second term in office in about 10 days. And there are still exciting weeks ahead of him.
