ANALYSIS. Hezbollah is still holding back. But the coalition against the West is becoming alarmingly large | Abroad

Hezbollah is not going all out to war against Israel. Not yet. That is the message that the leader of the powerful Lebanese militia delivered on Friday afternoon. “But we can opt for any other choice at any time,” Hassan Nasrallah threatened in his long-awaited speech. “Because this is not a conflict like before. This is a decisive battle.” A battle in which Israel is only one of the enemies – and with reports of the supply of Russian weapons to Hezbollah, a frighteningly large coalition against the West is beginning to emerge.
